Automotive Glass Technician

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: $27 – $30 / hour

Location: Langford, BC, 20 minutes from Victoria, B.C.

JOB FUNCTION

• Provides high quality installations and customer service
• Provides glass installation and repair, including door glass, windshield & rock chip repair
• Ensures that all equipment, materials and areas of operation conform to health & safety regulations & requirements
• Obtains critical information for proper part ordering
• Provides customer service and sales
• Provides customers with on-site repairs
• COVID-19 Guidelines: Utilize Proper Protective Equipment (masks, sanitizer, disinfectant, etc) to ensure safe work practices; Sanitize, disinfect and clean work areas and equipment as required.

CERTIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing:

• High school diploma preferred
• Autoglass certification preferred, but experience & ability will also be considered
• Valid BC driver’s licence required

Experience:

• Autoglass installation: prefer min of 2 years
• Must be bondable (Able to pass both Drug and Background checks)

Other Skills & Requirements:

• High values and ethics
• Computer literacy
• Own tools preferred
• Flat glass cutting an asset
